Where premium fruit, big energy and real winemaking collide
Vintage is where the real work, and the real magic happens.
At Vinarchy, the new global wine leader behind Jacob’s Creek, Hardys, Campo Viejo, St Hugo, St Hallett, Petaluma, Stoneleigh and more, vintage is the heartbeat of our craft. And at Berri, you’ll be part of one of Australia’s most productive and diverse winemaking regions, working with fruit that powers some of the country’s most iconic wines.
We’re looking for a Vintage Assistant Winemaker to join our 2027 team… someone who thrives on pace, pressure, problem‑solving and the pure joy of making good wine.
You’ll be right in the thick of vintage, working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Winemakers and the Cellar team as fruit rolls in and the winery hits full stride.
Your days will be a blend of creating cellar work orders, monitoring quality and supporting the flow of vintage operations across the Berri site:
This role is perfect for someone who loves being close to the fruit, close to the action, and part of the decisions that shape quality wines.
You’re someone who already knows their way around a winery and wants to deepen their craft. You bring practical experience, a steady hand and a genuine passion for making great wine.
If vintage is your favourite time of year and you thrive when the pressure is on, you’ll fit right in.
Berri is home to high‑quality Riverland fruit, modern equipment and a vintage culture built on teamwork, curiosity and pride.
You’ll gain exposure across a large, dynamic site while still feeling part of a tight‑knit, supportive team.
It’s the kind of experience that builds skill, confidence and opportunities across winemaking, production and global operations.
At Vinarchy, we’re committed to building a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture. Prospective candidates will be required to provide proof of legal work rights and complete relevant pre‑employment screening to verify eligibility and suitability.
If you’re motivated, hands‑on and ready to help shape the 2027 vintage at one of Australia’s most important winery sites, we’d love to hear from you.
