Job summary

Searchability® is seeking a junior videographer to own day-to-day video production, from setup to filming and directing the editing team. You’ll work closely with a presenter, cover weddings, events and live content, and step into more social content duties over time.

The role focuses on video production, lighting, audio, and storytelling, with on-site work in Sydney and potential growth across formats as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Practical videography experience, wedding or event experience highly relevant.
• Confident operating cameras and setting up lighting and audio.
• Ability to capture both planned content and spontaneous moments.
• Video editing skills and an eye for framing, pacing and storytelling.
• Confident directing people on camera and taking ownership of shoots.
• Energetic, proactive approach and adaptability.
• Comfortable filming live events for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Film YouTube videos, short-form content, live webinars and events.
• Manage studio setup including cameras, lighting, audio and teleprompters.
• Direct the presenter on shoots and keep production moving.
• Capture photography and video at live events from setup to finish.
• Edit when required; growth into broader social content duties over time.
