Searchability® is seeking a junior videographer to own day-to-day video production, from setup to filming and directing the editing team. You’ll work closely with a presenter, cover weddings, events and live content, and step into more social content duties over time.
The role focuses on video production, lighting, audio, and storytelling, with on-site work in Sydney and potential growth across formats as you gain experience.
Love being behind the camera and ready to take ownership of video production? This could be the perfect next step for a junior videographer with experience in weddings, events or live content.
We're looking for an energetic Videographer and Content Producer to work closely with a key presenter and take ownership of day-to-day video production. You could already be producing content for a business, or be a junior videographer coming from the wedding or events space. If you're confident with a camera, understand lighting and audio, and know how to capture the moment, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll film everything from YouTube videos and short-form content to live webinars, events, office footage and behind-the-scenes content. You'll manage the studio setup, including cameras, lighting, audio, teleprompters and webinar switchboards. During shoots, you'll confidently guide the presenter, spot what looks good on camera and keep production moving. You'll also capture photography and video at live events from start to finish. This means being comfortable moving around venues, carrying equipment and working on your feet for extended periods, often four to six hours or longer. The initial focus is firmly on video production and content capture, with editing when required. Over time, there's scope to take on more social content production responsibilities, working alongside an existing offshore social media team.
