Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning in Murarrie, QLD, is seeking a full-time in-house videographer, photographer, editor and storyteller to own end-to-end shoots. You’ll plan, shoot, edit and deliver content across marketing channels, including digital, social and e-learns, with multi-camera capability and drone/gimbal work.

The role requires 5–7 years’ experience, strong Adobe CC skills, and a passion for storytelling. Occasional after-hours work and local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in creative industries or similar.
• 5–7 years working in a similar role.
• High-level experience as seasoned photographer, videographer, editor and storyteller.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Audition, Captivate, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• High-level experience with AV equipment: use, care and storage.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized and independent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and shoot a wide variety of content for marketing and business.

Green Leaves Early Learning – Murarrie QLD

Green Leaves Early Learning is a national organisation with our head office in Brisbane. We’re growing and we’re looking for a full-time, permanent, in-house professional to own and deliver commercial-grade videography, photography, editing, producing and end-to-end shoot management. You’re a storyteller at heart, you have vision, and you deliver.

Generally, you’ll:

• Plan and execute a wide variety of shoots which capture content for use across the entire marketing mix and business
• Shoot for a wide variety of outputs (from paid digital and social platforms to eLearns and websites), and purposes and tones
• Be comfortable editing and re-editing existing footage and previous projects, applying new approaches and thinking to old outputs, and cutting new projects from extensive raws
• Excel in key event shooting, including multi-camera set-up, fixed and roaming, and audio capture / feed
• Shoot with drone and gimbal, shoot timelapse and hyperlapse
• Shoot training videos and output in SCORM
• Be AI savvy: editing, prompts, voice overs etc. (we use AI to enhance where valuable but not to cut corners or replace OG shoot diligence, planning, setup and manual editing)
• Work with a wide variety of lay talent who need real-time direction and support to shine and make on-the-fly changes to achieve shoot results
• Deeply appreciate that the role is more than just transactionally or technically capturing a shoot; if the scene, setup, layout or people aren’t popping, you’re comfortable directing and rolling up your sleeves and doings what’s needed to get the job done to meet strategic objectives
• Establish, fix and maintain best-practice file naming and management, and data wrangling and back-up systems
• Have the ability to shoot for the edit
• Have the ability to edit all shoots, from photo enhancement to all forms of video edits and effects
• Have the ability to shoot, edit and deliver at speed without sacrificing quality
• Deeply understand photography lighting, indoor lighting set ups, shadows, image stitching and deliver outputs so perfect that post-shoot editing is minimal
• Have the ability to manually blend and composite multiple images / exposures to achieve clean and seamless photos without relying on automated layering tools
• Commit to continuous improvement and innovation
• Be required to work occasional after hours / long shifts
• Be required to do occasional, local, off-site driving and travel

Experience & skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in creative industries or similar and at least 5–7 years working in a similar role
• High-level experience as seasoned photographer, videographer, editor and storyteller
• High-level experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Audition, Captivate, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects (Motion Graphics), Claude, Higgsfield, etc.
• High-level experience across AV equipment: use, preparation, care and storage
• High-level experience in data back-up, storage and wrangling
• High-level diligence in file naming and structures
• Exceptional people person who can relate to all ages and personalities to build rapport, and create a comfortable and conducive shoot capture environment
• Strong attention to detail, very organised and independent self-starter
• High-level of professional accountability and emotional intelligence
• Holds a valid driver licence and has a vehicle for use
• A good, kind, genuine human being who loves to kick goals in a fast-paced team and have a heap of fun along the way
