Job summary

Carve and Stitch is a Sydney-based post-production and animation studio. We are seeking a talented Editor to join our growing team and deliver engaging videos across a diverse range of projects.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and report to the studio director and producers for project delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong storytelling background, excellent Premiere skills, and comfort with Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.

The Gig: Editor

We're looking for a talented Editor to join our growing team. You'll create engaging videos, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help deliver exceptional work across a diverse range of projects. You will report to the studio director and producers for project delivery.

If you're a creative problem-solver with strong storytelling, excellent design skills and a passion for crafting beautiful work, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is suited to someone at a senior level, though we’re open to keen mid-weights with strong foundations. Ideally, you’ll have at least 5 years of experience in a similar studio or agency environment.

Essential skills:

• Highly skilled with Premiere
• Comfortable with Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Intuition for storytelling
• Ability to carry projects from concept to delivery
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
• Solid understanding of post-production process
• Across the latest AI developments and tools
• Adept technical knowledge of formats and delivery (across social media, digital and broadcast)

Bonus Points:

• Experience with additional post-production skillsetsincluding motion design, colour grading, sound design and mix
• Production experience
