Job summary

Private Media in Sydney is seeking a creative Video Content Producer to join SmartCo Media, handling end-to-end video production for our small business and startup publications and content agency. You will perform hands-on editing and post‑production work while developing engaging video concepts for diverse client projects across our brands.

Balance producing duties with editing, manage multiple shoots and client feedback, and collaborate with the Head of Production to deliver compelling visuals

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on editing experience using Premiere Pro.
• Proficient in graphics, effects and keyframing within Premiere Pro and able to integrate animations from design teams.
• Practical level of After Effects with templates and green screen keys.
• Experience using project management tools like Asana for video projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing and presenting creative video concepts, scripts and interview talking points, shotlists and storyboards.
• Interviewing talent on set.
• Lead project kick-offs and pre-production logistics, from briefing calls with talent to shoot schedules and releases.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Production and our videography team to ensure shoots hit the client brief and our creative standards.
• Map out post-production timelines and provide a quality‑assurance eye on all videos.
• Take full ownership of the editing workflow, including narrative cut‑downs, colour grading, audio mixing and blending music tracks.
• Maintain impeccably clean project files and organised timelines for seamless handovers.
• Manage client feedback and expectations with emotional intelligence and diplomacy.
• Travel nationally and potentially internationally to manage shoots on location.
