Job summary

East Partnership invites an experienced project finance professional to join as Director – Digital & Core Infrastructure. You will lead origination, structuring and execution of major infrastructure financings and manage senior client relationships.

Based in Sydney, this role combines leadership and strategic input to grow the platform's pipeline with funds, sponsors and institutional investors. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate across teams to deliver complex transactions

• Develop senior relationships with infrastructure funds, sponsors, developers and institutional investors.
• Identify and originate new opportunities across digital and core infrastructure.
• Lead transactions from mandate through to financial close, overseeing modelling, due diligence, structuring and documentation.
• Provide strategic advice on project finance, acquisition finance, refinancing and capital structures.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and contribute to the broader growth of the platform.

We are partnering with a leading infrastructure investment platform on a high-profile Director opportunity within its Project Finance team, covering origination, structuring and execution of major financings across digital and core infrastructure assets. The platform has a strong track record and pipeline, offering exposure to leading investors, sponsors and institutional capital providers. We're keen to speak with high-calibre project finance professionals ready to step into a broader senior role with significant client-facing and origination responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the origination, structuring and execution of project finance and infrastructure financing transactions.
• Develop senior relationships with infrastructure funds, sponsors, developers and institutional investors.
• Identify and originate new opportunities across digital and core infrastructure.
• Lead transactions from mandate through to financial close, overseeing modelling, due diligence, structuring and documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 8-12+ years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure finance or investment banking.
• Strong track record across origination, structuring and execution of complex infrastructure transactions.
• Experience across digital infrastructure, data centres and/or core infrastructure highly desirable.
• Strong commercial and technical capabilities, including financial modelling and debt structuring.
• Established relationships with infrastructure funds, sponsors, developers and institutional investors.
• Proven ability to originate opportunities and manage senior client relationships.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
