Job summary

VetPartners Australia and New Zealand is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team in a calm, spa‑like clinic environment. The role focuses on dentistry and surgeries while supporting the lead vet with overflow consults; diagnostic tools will be used to drive best outcomes.

You will educate clients on wellness plans and preventive care, working with a dedicated nursing team and supportive staff.

We’re experiencing rapid client growth and looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team. About Our Team:

Our small animal practice has two vets per day supported by 3-4 support staff. Our experienced consulting lead veterinarian works alongside our two dedicated veterinary surgeons throughout the week. We proudly provide GP services and integrative medicine options to our community. Our wonderful nursing team have the option to work across team and nurse consulting, surgery and hospital or reception and we enjoy both the variety and ability to refresh. We support team wellness and don’t work after‑hours or weekends.

Our roles are made easier by having a range of new equipment, modern in-house Idexx diagnostics, full laboratory, pharmacy, ultrasound and radiology.

About The Role:

This role would suit an experienced veterinary surgeon competent in the following:

• Primary focus on procedures, dentals and surgeries
• Supporting our lead consulting vet with overflow consults
• Diagnostic driven to utilise the services and tools within clinic for best outcomes
• Educate clients on wellness plans, preventatives and chronic health care
• Great teamwork ethos with the ability to work independently and within a team
