Job summary

VetPartners Australia and New Zealand in South Brisbane invites a dedicated veterinarian to join our small animal clinic on a four-day, full-time schedule. You will handle a varied caseload including consults, urgent care, procedures and surgeries, supported by our experienced nursing team.

Qualifications

• Qualified veterinarian with 3–4 years of practical experience.
• Able to work in a team or autonomously while managing caseload.
• Committed to high standards of veterinary care.
• Self-motivated with a focus on continuous education.

Responsibilities

• Consult in-clinic cases including routine checkups and urgent care.
• Perform procedures and surgeries as required.
• Collaborate with nursing team and lead/associate vets.
• Participate in rounds, training workshops, and wellness activities.

Job description

Our small animal clinic is located on a corner block in the leafy suburbs of South Brisbane. We are looking for a new full-time veterinarian to join our friendly team who are committed to providing our clients and their pets high standards of veterinary care.

This is a full-time role 4 days per week, where you will have a varied caseload with a mix of consulting, urgent care, procedure or surgery time supported by our experienced nursing team.

Work alongside our warm and welcoming Lead Vet and bubbly Associate Vet and feel inclusive with clinical support, morning rounds and team gatherings or take a break in our wellness room or private garden. We appreciate your career development and offer generous CE allowances and study leave to support your interests and offer free internal veterinary training workshops.

About The Clinic

• Small animal boutique practice offering routine veterinary services
• Fully equipped with inhouse lab, x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, laser etc.

About You

• Veterinarian with at least 3-4 years practical experience
• Ability to work in a team or autonomously by overseeing the caseload
• Strongly committed to providing high standards of veterinary care
• Self-motivated approach to continuous education and learning
