Job summary

Clermont Veterinary Surgery in Central Queensland is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our hands-on team. The role supports small animals, equine and livestock with a busy, collaborative clinic environment.

We offer full-time, part-time or locum opportunities and a 76-hour fortnight roster for full-time staff, including 1-in-4 weekend duties. A supportive team and ongoing learning are integral to our culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) is preferred.
• 2+ years veterinary nursing experience is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consultations, treatments and hospital cases.
• Surgical nursing, anaesthetic preparation and monitoring.
• Administering medications and supporting patient recovery.
• Deliver exceptional client service.
• Assist veterinarians in-clinic and on farm visits when required.
