Job summary

AES Hobart, part of the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) network, is seeking a Veterinary Nurse Assistant to support our nursing team in a 24/7 emergency hospital. The role involves animal handling, assisting with laboratory tests, maintaining clinic hygiene and contributing to a positive team culture across clinical and administrative shifts.

It is a permanent part-time role with a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight and a starting rate of $30.04 per hour plus super and penalty rates.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused.
• Certificate II Animal Care or equivalent and wanting to obtain Cert IV Veterinary Nursing.

About the Role

Our Veterinary Nurse Assistant team members are trained to help support the Nursing staff.
