Animal Emergency Australia operates the AES Osborne Park hospital, delivering high-quality emergency medicine 24/7. You will provide clinical leadership on shift, mentor vets and nurses, and manage a wide range of urgent to critical cases in a renovated ECC hospital.

The role offers part-time flexibility across a 24/7 roster, access to advanced diagnostics and equipment, and supportive professional development within a nationally connected network.

Formación

• BVSc with Australian registration.
• Strong emergency and critical care skills.
• Confidence in clinical decision-making.
• A passion for mentoring and team development.
• MANZCVS (ECC or similar) desirable, not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Work with an experienced ECC nursing and support team.
• Treat a wide range of urgent to critical medical/surgical cases.
• Access advanced equipment (CT, digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX, blood gas analyzers).
• Permanent part-time with a rotating 24/7 roster and 7 shifts per fortnight.

At AES Osborne Park, part of the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) network, you’ll work at the forefront of emergency medicine, delivering life-saving care when it matters most.

We have intentionally designed our roster, workflows, facilities and culture to create a sustainable emergency career where you can practice high-quality medicine, continue growing professionally, and still have time for the things that matter outside the hospital.

The Role

You’ll provide clinical leadership, guide decision-making on shift, and mentor vets and nurses. This role is ideal for a highly skilled ECC vet looking for greater impact, autonomy, and a wide clinical scope.

• Work collaboratively with an experienced and highly skilled ECC nursing and support team
• Treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases ranging from urgent to critical care
• Access advanced equipment including CT, digital radiography, Esaote ultrasonography, full IDEXX suite, blood gas analysers, ventilators and advanced ECC monitoring equipment
• Permanent part-time role with flexible availability required across a rotating 24/7 roster with 7 shifts per fortnight, intentionally designed to reduce fatigue and provide sustainability

About You

As an experienced emergency veterinarian, you’ll bring:

• BVSc (or equivalent) with Australian registration
• Strong emergency and critical care skills
• Confidence in clinical decision-making
• A passion for mentoring and team development
• MANZCVS (ECC or similar) desirable, not essential
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
