Job summary

Penrith Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced casual Veterinary Nurse to join our busy practice in Sydney. This role offers flexible, ad hoc shifts to cover staff leave and peak periods, with no regular commitments and the opportunity to work with a supportive nursing team.

As a casual nurse, you will contribute to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting, collaborating with veterinarians and the wider VC network while maintaining excellent client

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• A friendly, caring and team-focused attitude.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover during staff leave and periods of extra demand.
• Pick up casual shifts with no set roster or ongoing commitments.
• Work in a busy, fast-paced hospital environment and deliver high-quality care.

Experienced Veterinary Nurse – Casual Role Available

Our Practice:

For over 50 years, Penrith Veterinary Hospital has been caring for Penrith’s pets and their owners.Our experienced veterinarians and dedicated nursing team are committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a friendly, comprehensive, and affordable environment. With a team of 9 experienced veterinarians supported by almost 20 veterinary nurses, no two days are the same in our busy and dynamic hospital.

We’re looking for an experienced casual Veterinary Nurse to join our team and provide cover during staff leave and periods of extra demand. No set shifts or regular commitments – just flexible, ad hoc shifts when we need an extra pair of hands!

About You:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
