Job summary

Warners Bay Vet in Warners Bay, NSW 2282 is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time/casual basis. You will support veterinarians and provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, from dogs and cats to birds and other small animals.

You will assist examinations, administer medications, monitor hospitalised patients, educate clients, maintain records, and help sustain a welcoming, compassionate clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience as a Veterinary Nurse, preferably in a small animal practice.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
• Effective communication and client service abilities.
• Passion for animal welfare and a desire to contribute to the health and wellbeing of pets.
• Flexibility to work part-time/casual schedule, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Performing routine nursing tasks such as administering medications, bandaging wounds, and collecting samples.
