Riverbank Animal Hospital has experienced exciting growth and looking for a confident Vet Nurse to join our busy team. We are searching for someone with 2+ years of vet nursing experience who genuinely loves supporting the client and patient journey.

About our hospital

We are a large modern hospital seeing small animals ranging from dogs and cats to bunnies, birds, exotics and pocket pets. Our experienced and friendly team start the day with rounds and move through the day with pace and compassion. We are fully equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, full inhouse Idexx laboratory, 3 consult rooms, surgery suite, dental suite, separate dog and cat wards with large treatment hospital area. We have great hospital tech including EzyVet, Smartflow, WebPacs, Vetcheck and Vetstoria, with fob on workstations.

What the role involves

• Consult Vet Nursing
• Leading on client experience and communication
• Team consulting – supporting vets in consult
• Nurse consulting – nail trims, anal glands, arthritis/allergy injections etc
• Preparing and administering medications
• Running blood sampling and cytology slides
• Liaising with hospital team with patients being admitted from consult
• General stocking, cleaning and admin
• This is a permanent part-time position working Monday 8-5pm, Tuesday 8-6pm, Friday 8-5pm with potential for additional hours.
