Zusammenfassung

Murdoch University’s necropsy suite is seeking a dedicated Necropsy Technician to support teaching, research and diagnostic activities. You will maintain the necropsy suite, assist with necropsies, handle samples, and ensure accurate records and SOP compliance.

Completion of a relevant degree or equivalent experience is required. You will work with animal cadavers, manage records, and use computer systems including EzyVet.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of necropsy techniques and ability to work with animal cadavers.
• Experience maintaining accurate laboratory records and strong organisational skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs such as EzyVet.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Aufgaben

• Maintain necropsy suite operations, ensure cleanliness, equipment readiness, and proper disposal of remains.
• Support pathology services, assist with necropsies, sample handling, data entry, and technical support for teaching and research.
• Manage records and compliance, document procedures, maintain SOPs and ensure adherence to university standards.
