Job summary

Murdoch University in Western Australia invites applications for a necropsy technician role within the School of Veterinary Medicine. You will assist in necropsies, manage the necropsy suite, maintain records and contribute to teaching and research activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant degree or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
• Knowledge of necropsy techniques and ability to work with cadavers and specimens.
• Accurate records, documentation and data entry skills.
• Strong organisational, communication and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain necropsy suite operations: keep it clean, equipment ready and dispose remains properly.
• Support pathology services: assist with necropsies, sample handling, data entry and teaching support.
• Manage records and SOPs: document procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
