Job summary

VEPALABS is seeking a motivated Technical Support Officer to provide hands-on support, training and technical expertise to veterinary clinics using our point-of-care diagnostic analysers and equipment. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across your region, with remote and onsite support.

You will diagnose issues, perform quality control testing, train staff and manage service visits, while delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience with veterinary diagnostic analysers and equipment.
• At least 1 year of Veterinary Nursing experience or blood collection/sampling.
• Strong technical aptitude and quick to learn new technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of PC hardware, networking devices, desktop and mobile applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding support to veterinary practices via phone, email, video call and onsite visits.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and software issues.
• Train clinic staff on analysers operation and QC processes.
• Perform routine quality control testing and support laboratory integrations.
• Manage your travel, schedule and service visits.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls and site visits.
