Job summary

Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Sydney seeks a Specialist Veterinary Cardiologist to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will help lead open-heart mitral valve repair and interventional cardiology within a dynamic, independent hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Diplomate ACVIM (Cardiology) or equivalent qualifications.
• Eligibility for veterinary and specialist registration in NSW.
• Sound clinical judgement and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart disease, arrhythmias and congestive heart failure.
• Perform and interpret cardiac investigations with clear treatment plans and follow-up.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across cardiology, anaesthesia, surgery and imaging.
• Contribute to open-heart mitral valve repair and interventional procedures.
• Assist development of clinical protocols and pursue interests in advanced echocardiography and electrophysiology.
