VetPartners Australia Pty in Queensland is seeking a part-time or full-time Small Animal Veterinarian to join a friendly, supportive team. You will deliver high-quality care with a varied caseload, and enjoy a clinic that values work-life balance and professional growth.

The role covers exams, routine and complex surgeries, diagnostic imaging, preventive care, client education, and collaboration with a skilled nursing team.

Qualifications

• QLD veterinary registration or eligible.
• 2+ years of small animal practice experience.
• Willingness to lead, grow and mentor a team while delivering patient care.

Responsabilités

• Consult with clients and provide high-quality care for pets.
• Perform routine and complex surgeries, from desexing to soft tissue procedures.
• Use diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment.
• Deliver preventive health care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness checks.
• Educate and support pet owners, building strong and trusted relationships.
• Collaborate with a skilled nursing team and experienced colleagues.
• Respond to emergencies with confidence and care when they arise.
• Maintain accurate clinical records for seamless continuity of care.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

As a Small Animal Veterinarian, no two days will look the same. You’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, including:

• Consulting with clients and providing high-quality care for their pets

About You

• A qualified veterinarian registered (or eligible) in QLD
• 2+ years’ experience in small animal practiceConfident in handling both routine and complex cases
