Job summary

Vet Happiness - Redland Bay invites an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our small animal team on a part-time basis. The clinic emphasises a stress-free, spa-like environment with modern in-house IDEXX diagnostics, ultrasound, radiology and a full laboratory, supporting GP and integrative medicine options.

The role centers on procedures, dentals and surgeries, with overflow consultations as needed. You will work in a supportive team with two vets daily and 3-4 staff, enjoying opportunities

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary surgeon with focus on procedures, dentals and surgeries.
• Ability to work with overflow consults and support the lead vet.
• Diagnostic-driven approach using clinic tools for best outcomes.
• Ability to educate clients on wellness plans, preventive care and chronic health needs.
• Strong teamwork and the ability to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

Welcome to our newly renovated clinic where we pride ourselves on the best veterinary services in the bay. We’re experiencing rapid client growth and looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team. About Our Team:

Our small animal practice has two vets per day supported by 3-4 support staff. Our experienced consulting lead veterinarian works alongside our two dedicated veterinary surgeons throughout the week. We proudly provide GP services and integrative medicine options to our community. Our wonderful nursing team have the option to work across team and nurse consulting, surgery and hospital or reception and we enjoy both the variety and ability to refresh. We support team wellness and don’t work after-hours or weekends.

Our roles are made easier by having a range of new equipment, modern in-house Idexx diagnostics, full laboratory, pharmacy, ultrasound and radiology.

About The Role:

This role would suit an experienced veterinary surgeon competent in the following:

• Primary focus on procedures, dentals and surgeries
• Supporting our lead consulting vet with overflow consults
• Diagnostic driven to utilise the services and tools within clinic for best outcomes
• Educate clients on wellness plans, preventatives and chronic health care
• Great teamwork ethos with the ability to work independently and within a team
