Gympie offers an ideal balance between metropolitan and rural practice. As a regional city, we are often the first point of contact for urgent and emergency presentations. This provides valuable exposure to emergency medicine and surgery without the demands of a dedicated ECC environment. You'll gain experience managing a diverse caseload while always having the support of colleagues around you. When emergencies arrive, it's a genuine team effort, with experienced vets and nurses working together to achieve the best outcomes.
