Job summary

Premium Aged And Community Services in Gosford & Central Coast NSW seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse for the DVA Community Nursing Program. Part-time role delivering home-based, holistic nursing care to veterans and families.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, care planning, wound care, and health education, while documenting in line with standards and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the NMBA.
• CPR certificate.
• Police clearance.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transport.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn DVA guidelines and community nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, person-centred nursing care to eligible DVA clients.
• Support veterans to maintain independence and quality of life at home.
• Provide assessments, care planning and monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage wound care.
• Document care per DVA and professional standards.
• Collaborate with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
