Responsibilities

• Reception duties: answer phones, assist clients, admit/discharge patients.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the clinic.

You will be joining a team at a busy veterinary clinic where you will get to do a bit of everything with no set role and no day is the same. You will be working across reception, patient care, and assisting veterinarians with procedures. We are a small 2 vet practice located in Bowral in the southern highlands .

Key responsibilities

• Reception duties including answering phones, assisting clients with enquiries, admitting and discharging patients
• Cleaning

• Monitoring anaesthetics
• Assisting vets with procedures such as blood collection, IV catheter placement, and restraining patients

About you

• Passionate about animals
• Certificate IV in veterinary nursing (desirable but not essential)
• Flexible availability to work 4-5 days a week and occasional Saturdays and available to fill in on days people are sick
