Job summary

Emerald Star Hotel Motel is seeking a Venue Support Officer to help ensure smooth daily operations across front-of-house and back-office systems. You will process reconciliations, maintain POS and staff records, and support the venue team during peak trade.

You will handle data integrity, stock control, compliance reporting and contribute to audits. A customer-focused approach and ability to keep confidential information secure are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence with enquiries via phone, email and in person.
• Respect for privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Organised and professional administration management.
• Support venue team on floor during peak trading times.
• Active participation in team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Complete all financial reconciliations and maintain POS registers.
• Maintain data integrity in ALH systems including employee and training records.
• Manage stock control and stocktakes and identify cash/stock variances.
• Ensure VISA obligations are met for team members in ALH systems.
• Review venue reports and provide feedback to key team members.
• Assist Management Team in achieving audit results and compliance.

A day in the life of a Venue Support Officer:

• Completion of all financial reconciliations as required including maintaining point of sale registers
• Maintaining all data integrity in all ALH systems in a timely manner as well as all employee records and training records.
• Manage stock control and stocktakes within the Venue as well as Identify and highlight cash and stock variances
• Ensure all VISA obligations are met and managed for team members in the ALH systems.
• Reviewing all venue generated reports and providing feedback to key team members
• Assist Management Team in achieving expected audit results as well as Compliance and Loss Prevention

• You provide outstanding customer service with enquiries via phone, email and face to face.
• You understand the importance of privacy & confidentiality with sensitive information
• You maintain the administration area in a well organised and professional manner at all times
• You support the Venue team with service on the floor during peak times of trade
• You attend and contribute your insights in team meetings
