Job summary

Phat Brew Club in West Perth is seeking a Venue Leader to head the Venue Experience team at our Hillarys venue, delivering consistently high-quality service on the floor.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on people, service, and guest experience, with responsibilities spanning rostering, stock control, menu and POS management, event delivery up to 350 guests, budgets, training, and cross‑team collaboration with marketing, brewery and kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar venue management role within hospitality.
• Proactive people leader focused on delivering quality craft beer and food experiences.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Able to lead large teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Extensive craft beer, food, wine and beverage service experience.
• Ability to plan, organise and manage large events and functions.
• Flexible weekend/night hours and own transport.
• WA Liquor Licence knowledge and Approved Managers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rostering Venue Experience Team to ensure suitable coverage.
• Manage stock ordering and control within reasonable limits.
• Maintain menu items and POS products in Restoke and Square.
• Monitor COGs and update pricing as required.
• Oversee bookings and functions at Hillarys to ensure positive guest experiences.
• Support events delivery for up to 350 attendees.
• Lead the Venue Experience Team and train staff in product knowledge.
• Collaborate with Marketing on menus, posters and marketing materials.
• Work with brewery and kitchen teams for cross‑functional alignment.
• Assist in developing budgets and managing financial performance.
