Job summary

Langdon in Melbourne is seeking a Food Safety & Supplier Quality Graduate to join our technical team. You will assess suppliers, maintain certificates, and conduct supplier audits while supporting continuous improvement across sourcing and compliance.

You will interpret technical information, review regulatory requirements, and use MS Office and PowerBI to analyse data, contributing to a robust quality culture and ethical sourcing practices.

Qualifications

• Food Science graduate ready to start a technical career.
• Able to interpret technical information and make science-based judgments.
• Confident interpreting regulatory requirements.
• Proficient with data reporting tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess, rate, and review all suppliers.
• Maintain supplier information and certificates.
• Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate customer complaints and respond.
• Raise non-conformances for customers and suppliers.
• Perform internal quality system audits.
• Possible 1 day work from home after 6 months.
• Regular reviews at 12 months.

What's the role.

• Ensure all suppliers are assessed, rated and reviewed
• Ensure all supplier information is maintained including certificates
• Regular review of suppliers and conduct supplier audits
• Ensure new supplier documentation is provided and signed
• Ensure all certificates, COA's, PIF's and product specs are provided by the suppliers
• Ensure risk assessment for new suppliers and required documentation
• Investigate, analyse customer complaints and respond to customers
• Raise and investigate non-conformances for customers and suppliers
• Conduct internal quality system audits
• Possible 1 day work from home after 6 months
• Regular reviews including 12-month performance review.
