A leading food procurement company based in Melbourne is looking for a recent graduate for the Graduate Procurement Support Officer role. This position includes a 6-month graduate program offering hands-on experience in various departments, focusing on procurement. Ideal candidates will hold a science or nutrition degree and have a track record of academic success. This is a full-time entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the food industry.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates with ideally a science or nutrition degree.
• Solid record of academic success (GPA/WAM).
• Able to travel to the UK approximately 18-months from program completion.
• Willingness to travel to the UK ~18 months after program completion.

Responsibilities

• Join AUS procurement team to manage demand and raise purchase orders.
• Review sales orders and escalate supply gaps.
• Monitor inventory levels and stock allocations.
• Monitor the shipping schedule and escalate any delays or issues
• Ensure product invoices match agreed pricing, terms, purchase order
• Liaise with suppliers and others to gather relevant documentation

Graduate Procurement Support Officer responsibilities.

• Joining our AUS procurement team, start in your role for 4 weeks then complete the 6-month Langdon graduate program then return to your role
• Manage demand, raise purchase orders and communicate with suppliers
• Review new sales orders and escalate any supply gaps, incorrect pricing or unplanned sales
• Monitor the shipping schedule and escalate any delays or issues
• Ensure product invoices match agreed pricing, terms, purchase order
• Liaise with suppliers and others to gather relevant documentation
• Monitor inventory levels and stock allocations.

The Graduate Program.

• Identifying future leaders, our 6-month rotating program will see you learn and develop, working in sales, product development, technical, warehouse, marketing, customer service and planning departments
• Collaborate, work with highly experienced food industry professionals
• Assist the managers in each department with their project-based activities whilst being mentored and coached
• Enjoy Graduate breakfasts with current and past Langdon Graduates.

About you.

• Recent Graduate ideally with a science degree, food science, nutrition
• Solid record of academic success GPA/WAM
• Ready to build a career in procurement
• Self-motivated, positive and curious
• Confident to engage and collaborate with peers and managers
• Forward thinking bringing new and innovative ideas
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet goals
• Able to travel to the UK approximately 18-months from program completion.
