Halfords Autocentres in Salisbury is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to service and repair vehicles, with the opportunity to gain an MOT Tester licence. The role involves diagnosing complex issues and performing maintenance to DVSA standards.

You’ll start with base technician duties and may progress through MOT training and salary uplift upon qualification, within a leading automotive service network.

Competenze

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years' Vehicle Technician/Mechanic experience in a workshop environment.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Willing to undertake MOT Tester training & qualification.

Mansioni

• Carry out servicing and repair work including complex tasks like clutch and timing belt replacements.
• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards once qualified.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs across electrical, braking, steering and suspension systems.
