Job summary

PrixCar Services in Wishart (Brisbane) is seeking a dedicated Yard Hand to join our Vehicle Processing Team at our new facility. You will help prepare new vehicles for delivery, fit aftermarket accessories, and perform general yard duties with a safety-focused mindset.

Key tasks include inspecting vehicles for damage, safe manoeuvring around the yard, preservation work, washing cars and completing documentation. A valid driver's license and reliable attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Driver license (min. 3 years) essential
• Strong attention to detail & safety first mindset
• Understand workings of parts and components
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to lift/handle automotive parts
• Reliable, punctual and professionally presented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience in vehicle accessory fitments (nice to have)
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude advantageous (nice to have)
• Current MSIC card (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Inspection of vehicles to identify damage and missing parts or accessories
• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
• Undertake vehicle survey and preservation tasks
• Washing cars
• Complete associated documentation
