Job summary

Western Truck Group in Paget, Mackay is seeking a Yard Hand to help keep the dealership yard, workshop surrounds and facilities clean, safe and well-presented. You’ll move vehicles, assist with presentation checks, and support service, parts and sales teams as needed.

The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, a current driver’s licence, and a reliable, team-oriented attitude. HR licence is highly regarded and previous dealership or automotive exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s licence.
• Hands-on, practical approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, safety and presentation of the dealership yard and facilities.
• Prepare, detail and move vehicles to support operations and customer experience.
• Assist with vehicle presentation checks and general dealership tasks.
• Support service, parts and sales teams with day-to-day duties.
• Collect and deliver vehicles, parts and equipment as required.
• Identify hazards and report maintenance or environmental concerns.
• Follow company procedures and safety instructions.
