Job summary

Beaumaris Secondary College in Melbourne seeks a Classroom Teacher for Maths Generalist across VCE. Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the VCE Mathematics curriculum and literacy/numeracy integration.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and monitoring student growth.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students/parents.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with school communities.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area.
• Undertake other classroom duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and camps/excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers where applicable.
