Job summary

Home Ice Cream Pty is seeking Ice Cream Van Sales Operators for full-time roles across NSW. You will deliver ice cream door-to-door, drive a van, handle payments, and interact with customers to boost satisfaction.

Training is provided on commencement, with a supportive team and a focus on company culture. Immediate start available and a salary of $70,000 per year on a weekly payroll cycle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-packaged ice cream door-to-door following a proven system.
• Sell with focus on customer interaction and satisfaction.
• Operate with autonomy while supporting the team.
• Order and load the truck with ice cream products (under 5 kg).
• Work hours roughly Tue–Fri 12:00–20:30 and Sat 09:30–18:00.

Home Ice Cream (Sulles Pty Ltd) has full-time vacancies for Ice Cream Van Sales Operators. Our Depot Operations are located at Seventeen Mile Rocks, Qld and Huntingwood, NSW.

We are looking for people with lots of experience or no experience in the retail industry, as all training will be provided on the commencement of your employment.

As a Van Sales Operator, you are the face of our business. How you provide service to our customers will ultimately influence whether they purchase again in the future.You will be expected to be well presented, have a friendly attitude and be a team player with a real focus on customer service and company culture.

WHAT YOUR DAY INVOLVES

• Delivering pre-packaged ice cream products door to door in suburban streets, following a proven system operating for over 30 years.
• Sales, with a focus on customer interaction and satisfaction.
• Autonomy and team support.
• Ordering and loading your truck with ice cream products (small cartons under 5kg).
• Working hours (approx.) from Tuesday to Friday 12 noon to 8:30 pm (4 days), and Saturday from 9:30 to 6pm (40 Hrs).

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION

• A big SMILE, honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
• Previous experience in customer service is favourable (but not essential).
• Neat and professional presentation skills.
• Good English and taking and processing payments.
• Ability to drive and navigate streets, suburban roads and/or regional areas according to the territory Route book.
