Job summary

Australia Post in Narangba, Queensland is seeking a Van Driver for a permanent part-time role at the Narangba Parcel Delivery Centre. You will drive a company van, collect mail and parcels, and help sort items back at the depot while learning from experienced drivers.

You0ll start your day with a supportive team, maintaining safety and compliance, with a focus on reliability and excellent customer service as you work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12.15pm05.15pm.

Qualifications

• Valid full or probationary Australian driver0s licence.
• Safety-focused with ability to pass driving assessment.
• Reliable, flexible, with the ability to work additional hours when required.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle mail and parcels up to 16 kg; meets safe load limit.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company van to collect mail and parcels from various sites.
• Unload and sort mail and parcels, and perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Deliver to street posting boxes, corporate offices, post offices and delivery centres.
• Learn from senior drivers to build capability, confidence and long-term success.

About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll safely operate a company van to collect mail and parcels from a range of locations, including street posting boxes, corporate offices, licensed post offices and delivery centres. You’ll unload and accurately sort mail and parcels, complete daily vehicle safety checks, and take pride in doing the job right every time. You’ll be supported on the road by experienced senior drivers who are invested in your development, helping you build capability, confidence, and a strong foundation for long‑term success.

About you

• Hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence
• Safety‑focused and able to pass our practical driving assessment
• Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work additional hours when required
• Detail‑oriented and consistent, taking pride in getting the job done right
• Comfortable handling mail and parcels up to 16kg as part of daily work
• Meet our safe working load requirement of 130kg or less
• Keen to learn, develop skills and progress your career in transport and operations
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday 12.15pm - 5.15pm
