Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Motorcycle Delivery Driver to start each day at the Penrith facility, preparing mail and small parcels before setting out to homes and businesses.

You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, carry deliveries with care, and work with Rider Mentors to build confidence and consistency while supporting the local community.

This role offers permanent full-time employment with mentoring, safety focus, and opportunities to grow within the transport network.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary motorcycle licence.
• Able to pass required riding assessments and meet safety standards.
• Flexible to work additional hours to support service outcomes.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Keen to learn and grow, with pathways into senior delivery or mentoring roles.

About the opportunity

In this role, you’ll begin each day early as part of a supportive delivery team, preparing mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out to deliver to homes and businesses. You’ll complete daily vehicle safety checks, load your deliveries with care, and carry out reliable deliveries, with safety and consistency guiding every step.

You’ll be supported by experienced Rider Mentors who provide hands‑on guidance and coaching, helping you build confidence, capability and consistency in the role. This opportunity suits someone who takes pride in delivering strong outcomes, values teamwork and safety, and is motivated to perform at their best every day while building skills for long‑term success.

About you
