KPMG Brisbane is seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director to lead the Valuation Services team. You will manage complex engagements, develop client relationships, and drive growth while mentoring junior staff. Strong technical valuation capabilities and leadership are essential.

This is a Brisbane-based, full-time role. You will oversee proposals, client engagements, and market initiatives, shaping the future direction of the practice and ensuring high-quality, actionable insights

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business valuations within corporate advisory, professional services, investment banking, or related settings.
• Strong technical expertise across income, market, and cost-based valuation approaches.
• Excellent report-writing abilities and ability to distill complex analysis into insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex valuation engagements from proposal through delivery with high-quality outcomes.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Drive business development: proposals, pitches, and market-facing initiatives.
• Assess business performance, value drivers, and valuation metrics across entities and transactions.
• Prepare and review valuation reports, communicating methodologies clearly.
• Build, review, and challenge complex financial models using appropriate valuation methods.
• Lead, mentor and develop junior team members while managing multiple engagements.
