Job summary

Sheppard Earthmoving is seeking experienced Plant Operators and Vacuum Excavation Truck Operators to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This full-time role focuses on safe operation of vacuum excavation trucks and a range of plant to support regional projects.

Minimum 2 years’ mobile plant experience is required. Vacuum excavation experience is not essential as training will be provided. A current MR or higher licence and White Card are required for the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating mobile plant.
• MR or higher driver’s licence.
• White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Safe plant operation and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver plant including vacuum excavation trucks, excavators, loaders, skid steer loaders, tip trucks and under bore machines.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate plant usage with site supervisor and team members.
• Adhere to safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Deliver high-quality work and support project delivery.
