Job summary

Hydroexcavac Civil Solutions is hiring MR/HR Operators to join our Mackay-based team. You will perform vacuum excavation in the Mackay region, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure WHS compliance while completing required paperwork.

Qualifications

• MR/HR licence is required and a clean driving record is essential.
• Vacuum truck experience preferred but training will be provided for strong candidates.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform vacuum excavation works in the Mackay region.
• Ensure plant and machinery are in good working condition through inspections.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to WHS policies and safety procedures on site.

Hydroexcavac Civil Solutions are looking for reliable and highly motivated MR/HR Operators to join our growing team.

Our preferred candidates will

• Be responsible for completing vacuum excavation works in the Mackay region
• Ensure plant and machinery are in good working condition at all times by performing pre and post trip inspections
• Understand workplace health and safety requirements
• You will be expected to complete relevant paperwork required to complete job tasks
• Able to travel when needed - accommodation will be provided
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol Test
• This role is 10% driving and 90% hands on manual work, must be fit and willing to do manual work
• Minimum current MR Driver's licence with good driving record
• Vacuum Truck Experience preferred
• Passion - if inexperienced we will train you!
• Construction Industry white card
