Job summary

WorkPac Group in Melbourne is seeking a Vacuum Truck Driver to collect used cooking oil and operate a vacuum truck (MR/LR) for safe, timely transport. The role requires early start times (3am–4am) and offers OT where available, with Monday–Friday shifts and a strong focus on safety and client service.

You will maintain a professional appearance while representing the company at client sites, prioritising safety, reliability, and positive client relationships.

Qualifications

• MR Drivers Licence or higher mandatory.
• Previous customer service or labouring experience preferred.
• Previous vacuum truck experience preferred.

What You Will Be Doing:

• The role involves collecting used cooking oil from client sites, ensuring all collections are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with scheduled service requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a vacuum truck to extract and transport used cooking oil, with either a Medium Rigid (MR) or Light Rigid (LR) vehicle assigned depending on individual site requirements. Start times may vary to accommodate client schedules and operational needs.
• The successful candidate will maintain a professional and presentable appearance while representing the company at client sites. This includes demonstrating a strong customer service focus, communicating respectfully with clients and site personnel, and conducting all duties in a courteous and professional manner. A commitment to workplace safety, reliable service delivery, and maintaining positive client relationships is essential to the role.
