Metcash is Australia's leading wholesale distributor to independent retailers. We’re looking for a UX Designer to shape intuitive, user-centred experiences across IGA Australia's digital platforms.

You’ll work with product, technology and business teams, turning customer insights into engaging journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Qualifications

• Strong experience with Figma, including prototyping and design systems.
• Proven ability to conduct user research and translate insights into design solutions.
• Excellent UX and UI design skills with a keen eye for visual design, layout and interaction.
• Experience creating wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
• Solid understanding of design systems, component libraries and digital best practices.
• Confidence presenting and articulating design decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centred digital experiences that improve customer engagement and usability.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover insights and drive design decisions.
• Evolve and maintain the IGA design system, component library and UI standards.
• Partner with Product, Technology and Business teams to translate ideas into exceptional digital experiences.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design quality is maintained through delivery.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders, clearly articulating the value behind your solutions.
