Underwater Dive Services is seeking divers and support staff for immediate start in Sydney, Australia. Qualified candidates should hold a Commercial Diver ADAS or equivalent, or be Dive Instructor/ Dive Master, or Coxswain 3, with handyman skills for dive equipment and boats.

The role covers hull cleaning, maintenance, and various commercial diving tasks. Flexible work days from 1 to 6 days a week, with pay rates from 30 AUD/hr and up to 45 AUD/hr based on experience.

Qualifications

• Commercial Diver ADAS or equivalent.
• Dive Instructor or Dive Master.
• Coxswain 3.
• Handyman for general maintenance on dive equipment & boats (sailboats and motor boats).

Responsabilités

• Hull Cleaning & Inspections – removing marine growth off sailboats and power boats.
• Boat maintenance including sacrificial anodes, prop removal, small leaks.
• Commercial diving projects: cavitation clean, inspections, repairs, small construction.
• Search & Recovery for lost items.
• Marine Growth cleaning on jetties, boat ramps and structures.
• General maintenance for dive equipment and boats.
• Air filling station operation.
• Boat handling and driving (minimum Coxswain 3).
• All jobs reported with photos before and after.

Handyman for gral maintenance on: Dive Equipment & Boats (sailboats and motor boats)

Scope of work will be:

Hull Cleaning & Inspections - Removing marine growth (biofouling) involving barnacles, oysters, algae, etc off sailboats and power boats.

Boat maintenance for sacrificial anodes replacements, prop removal, small leaks.

Commercial diving projects: cavitation clean, inspections, repairs, small construction and others

Search & Recovery for lost items.

Marine Growth (biofouling) cleaning on jetties, boat ramps and other structures.

Gral Maintenance for dive equipment and boats

Air filling station operation

Boat handling and driving (required minimum coxswain 3 or in process)

Every job is reported with photos before and after.

Work Rates & Days:

Days to choose to work are flexible. You can choose to work from 1 to 6 days a week based on 8 hrs/day (unless modified).

Rate starts depending on previous experience on the job plus type/level of the job: from $30/hr (trainee level) and it can go above $45 according to the skills & experience in the position.

Available bonuses & allowances evaluated every quarter (3 months) based on performance, ethics, values, loyalty, teamwork and leadership.

All visa holders with work permit in Australia nare welcome to apply for this position

Divers will require to have a current OCUPATIONAL DIVE MEDICAL

Every candidate eventually will be required to have current First Aid & CPR, O2 provider certificate or in process to do so.

All divers will be required to acquire a MARINE CARD induction done by BIA (Boat Industry Association) online, which will allow them to be able to conduct work in marinas.

Paid training for no previous experience (hull cleaning) divers on the job.
