Job summary

HR Utilities is seeking a qualified utility locator to accurately locate and mark underground utilities across sites in Australia. You will use EM, GPR, and acoustic tools, interpret BYDA plans, and ensure data accuracy for project teams.

You will maintain equipment, follow OH&S practices, and contribute to as-built drawings and reports while coordinating with NDD, CCTV, and traffic management providers as projects require.

Qualifications

• Certification in locator technologies is required or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and White Card.
• First Aid training is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities with EM, GPR, and acoustic tools.
• Interpret BYDA plans and verify utility locations on-site.
• Maintain equipment and company vehicles; follow OH&S practices.
• Produce accurate as-built drawings and reports.
• Coordinate subcontractors (NDD, CCTV, traffic management) as needed.
• Communicate findings clearly with project teams and site staff.
