Job summary

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields, offering crucial workplace support in isolated locations. Housekeepers and Kitchenhands will join remote teams, performing cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, food prep and dishwashing on physically demanding 10-hour rosters.

Candidates should have housekeeping/cleaning or hospitality experience, a valid driver’s license and reliable transport, and be able to work within

Qualifications

• Must have housekeeping/cleaning and/or hospitality experience.
• Driver's license and own reliable transport preferred.
• Must reside within 5–600km of Coppabella, QLD.
• Be flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required.
• Time savvy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to be on feet for up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

Salaries ranging from $73,723 - $79,265 + Super

• Various rosters - 9/5 & 14/7
• DIDO from within the Central Queensland region (No FIFO/BIBO)

The Positions

• Work as key members in our remote kitchen and housekeeping teams
• Duties include cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, assisting with food preparation and dishwashing
• Physically active roles, requiring you to work 10 hour days
• Modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respect.

Housekeeping is not just about changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and restocking toiletries. It’s about creating an environment that allows our residents and guests to relax, rejuvenate and re-energise.

The Person
