Job summary

WorkPac is hiring Utilities Worker Housekeeper / Kitchen Hand for Mackay region mine sites on a 14/7 roster. You will clean accommodation, crib rooms, offices and facilities, and assist with kitchen duties and meal service.

Camp and meals are provided; BIBO from Mackay or DIDO options are available. S11 and Coal Board Medical are essential, and reliability and flexibility are required for remote mining work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, kitchen hand, utilities or similar roles.
• Current S11 and Coal Board Medical are essential.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a remote mining environment.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

About Our Client

Our client is a leading mining company with multiple sites around Mackay. They are seeking reliable Utilities Workers to support site operations across housekeeping and kitchen duties.

What You Will Be Doing

• Cleaning and maintaining accommodation, crib rooms, offices and site facilities.
• Assisting with kitchen and food service duties, including meal preparation, serving and cleaning.
• Washing dishes and maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas.
