Job summary

Pinaka Technology Solutions is seeking a Safety System Engineer to lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V and certification for a Canberra-based Defence project. The role focuses on maintaining safety obligations, evidence and traceability in line with Defence regulations and statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate safety analysis, hazard controls and governance artefacts, and provide senior judgement on design decisions, with majority onsite

Qualifications

• Role requires a Systems Engineer with Defence capability experience.

• Ability to obtain NV1 minimum clearance and pass organisation suitability checks.

Safety System Engineer

Australian citizenship required. Must have an active Negative Vetting Level 1 (or higher) security clearance.

Location: Canberra (Onsite).

The ADF is seeking a Safety System Engineer to lead the system safety program across requirements, design, V&V and certification. The role will ensure safety obligations, evidence and traceability remain aligned with the program while maintaining compliance with Defence regulatory and statutory requirements.
