Job summary

Talent Solutions is seeking System Engineers to join a major Australian defence and technology provider on a permanent basis. You will integrate subsystems including weapon systems, sensors and communications networks, and contribute to design, testing and validation to ensure cohesive operation.

The role requires engineering or computer science qualifications, 2+ years in systems engineering, and eligibility for AGSVA clearance; citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer science or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Experience across combat, communications, platform, control and autonomous systems.
• Proficiency in requirements, architecture, integration, verification, modelling and analysis.
• Citizenship or AGSVA clearance eligibility required.

• Focus on integration and coordination of subsystems such as weapon systems, sensors and networks.
• Design, integration testing and validation to ensure subsystems work together and meet requirements.

Our client is one of Australia's largest defence and technology solution providers, having built a reputation for delivering complex systems integration projects providing advanced capabilities to keep Australia ahead of today's challenges. We are currently seeking multiple System Engineers to join the organisation on a permanent basis and help build systems of tomorrow.

As a System Engineer you will focus on the integration and coordination of various subsystems like weapon systems, sensors, and communication networks. You are also responsible for system design, integration testing, and validation to ensure that all subsystems function as a cohesive unit, and bridge the gap between the technical and operational requirements, maintaining combat readiness and operational effectiveness.

To be successful you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, computer science or related technical discipline.
• Experience working as a Systems Engineer (ideally 2 years minimum).
• Expertise in systems engineering across combat, communications, platform, control, and autonomous systems
• Proficiency in system requirements, architecture, integration, verification, modelling, and analysis
• Previous experience in combat management systems is highly desirable but not essential
• Australian citizenship or the ability to obtain an AGSVA clearance.
