ForHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. You will triage, provide frontline nursing care, and collaborate with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Available for evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in ED/triage/ICU/CCU/rural settings.
• Experience in triage with an ED is preferred.
• Ability to assess health deterioration and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for patients in urgent care.
• Triage patients quickly with accuracy, empathy and confidence.
• Perform thorough nursing triage and prioritise care.
• Identify emergencies or deterioration and escalate promptly.
• Provide hands-on care such as suturing and plastering where appropriate.
• Adapt to a dynamic urgent care environment with flexibility.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with families and practitioners.
• Educate patients to empower them about their health.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives.
