ForHealth Group is expanding its urgent care services across Australia and seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our urgent care team. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, conduct timely triage, and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to assess, prioritise and manage patients safely.

This role offers an opportunity to apply clinical expertise, develop procedural skills and contribute to an evolving community healthcare model.

Formación

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• At least three years of Registered Nursing experience.
• Experience in Emergency Department nursing, triage, ICU/CCU, or rural and remote nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to recognise and upscale patient deterioration.
• Excellent communication, documentation and organisational skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, including appropriate delegation.
• A compassionate, patient-centred approach and the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct patient triage and clinical assessments, prioritising care according to urgency.
• Recognise and upscale clinical deterioration and emergencies promptly.
• Assist with procedures and provide wound care, suturing and plastering within your scope of practice and competency.
• Collaborate with medical practitioners, patients and families to support positive clinical outcomes.
• Provide patient education and promote health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, workplace health and safety and clinical governance requirements.
• Report incidents and hazards and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment.
