Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service in Australia. You will triage, provide front-line nursing care, and collaborate with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency Department, triage, ICU/CCU, Rural or remote nursing.
• Previous triage experience in ED preferred.
• Ability to assess health deterioration and escalate appropriately.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care.
• Conduct thorough and precise nursing triage.
• Act decisively in critical moments and escalate emergencies.
• Provide hands-on care such as suturing and plastering.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient records.
• Collaborate with medical practitioners to ensure patient-centered care.
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives.
