Camden Council is seeking an ambitious Urban Forest Cadet to study while gaining paid workplace experience in an urban forestry setting. You will work with seasoned professionals on tree management, greening projects and canopy assessment for Camden.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking, or demonstrated ability to enrol, in a tertiary qualification in Arboriculture (AQF5)
• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to balance study and workplace commitments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in tree management and urban greening projects
• Assist with ecological restoration and landscape assessment
• Support the Urban Forest Services team to protect and enhance Camden's urban canopy
